Innovate is grrrrrreat!
My LC1 legitimately died, as in ceased to function, a year after the warranty was up so I sent it back for repair.
They sent me a brand spanking new one, postage paid free of charge! No repair fee that I've seen so far from any source.
That's it, it was a nice change from things costing 537568X what it's originally supposed to.

Yup, I had pretty much the same experience with an LC-1 of mine that they covered.
If memory serves, if they do charge, their worst case scenario fee for LC-1 out of warranty repair work is $40. That's for the black box itself; the sensors generally aren't covered.

sub par? not sure what you're talking about, its definitely fast enough to be able to fine tune any miata engine.
I had both an Innovate LM2 and AEM uego on my forester (got the aem right after the LM2 sensor took a crap for the 2nd time) and can post logs showing them keeping up with the sampling rate of the stock subaru ecu. Neither one was lagging or going slower. Maybe the gauge does, not sure, and really don't care. Logs are what matters.
But that's off topic and we can discuss in PM if you so wish.
My point is: I'll never buy an Innovate product again if I can help it.

IMHO inovate are great
my roommate and i are debating on this for months.
i got a lc-1 in 2006, and i'm still using the same one, after so many years and cars.
roommate swear by his aem on his FD and his impreza.
glad to see you had a great customer service with innovate

My AEM UEGO was great. Perfectly reliable, and always produced a signal on the analog output that varied from 0.5 to 1.0 off from the front-panel reading.
I replaced it with an LC-1 which, by comparison, was utterly horrible. I had to actually wire it per the manufacturer's instructions in order to get it to operate properly. And the analog output was always dead-on, I never had the fun of guessing what the actual AFR was.

I'll stick with my AEM. I'm not building rocket appliances, so my sub-par accuracy matched with it's reliability seems to be great. Plus is says POO when I turn it on.

Well I'm happy, the old one was dead accurate until it decided to do nothing at all and the replacement was in and functioning in <1:30 from receiving the package.
The best part of this was that there was no charges to me for something delivered from California to Ontario through UPS, that in it's self is a miracle.

My tuning laptop finally died last night during start up so I couldn't connect to it.
Is there a way around (short of adding yet another OS to my good laptop) having a serial to usb with a non vista/7 compatible chip set?
