Haha, part throttle full boost from commercial EBC's is why I think they're dumb.

Just a guess.. but possibly boost source for his ebc is hooked up post throttle body? Ive read on a thread here of the same issue causing crazy high half throttle boost buildup.

Most if not all standalone EBCs target full boost all the time regardless of throttle opening. Some turbos can hit high boost at parth throttle. This affects driveability.

Many ECUs have a user settable boost target vs. throttle opening table.
