Default Parallel vs stand alone, Braineacks vs PNP & Some other Q's

Ok, so I'm getting pretty close here. The 1.8 swap should happen in the next 3 to 4 weeks. I have most of my turbo stuff stockpiled.

I have some questions to see if I have properly understood everything I have been reading here over the past year or so. First off, prior to undertaking this, my previous mechanical experience has been limited to brakes, clutches, bearings and axles on my Toyota 4x4. Most of what I see here confused me the first five times I read it, but I think I'm ready to step up to the next level. So please, use small words.

The Q's:

1) I'm putting a 94 in my 90, All OBDI, so no need to go Parallel right? Msq can be modded to run A/C, and idle right with a linear TPS (BMW or retain 1.8), correct?

2) It seem that Braineack's Msq build will do everything I want it to do, and is cheaper than PNP. Is there something I am missing?

I am planning on following the advice in one of the stickys. After getting the swap done and running right, then I want to install the Msq and learn its ropes on my 460's...then BOOST! I will be running a slightly boogered up Begi S, with a T28, IC, and SGDP. I haven't' decided which WB to go with yet, or if I want to VTA or recirculate. I also need to decide if I want to go with a MBC or EBC seems to be benefits and drawbacks to either.

So if anyone has any input, I'd appreciate it. If I'm missing anything huge flame away, and I'll go back to lurking.

Mods, this started out as an Msq thread but kinda morphed into something else. If it needs to be moved, I apologize.
