Question Running rich

I have a 92, 1.6 with a M45 Eaton SC, MSD timing control. The car has 76000 miles and the SC about 35000. I had the vehicle dyno tuned which resulted at 138 hp to the wheels. The tech told me the car was running rich below 5200 rpm and fine above that number. It is my understanding the 1.6 ECU can not be adjusted to help this. Is this true? Or any ideas what I could do to fix this situation? The SC system is one of the first of its kind and has the fuel regulator as opposed to a fuel card. not sure where to go with this, any help would be appreciated. Thank you...

Get a piggy back and adjust the fuel as necessary. Check plugs, etc.

The plugs and all else have been checked and are good. What would you suggest for the piggy back?

For just fuel and that amount of power? I personally used a Greddy Emanage Blue on my Mr2 and it ran almost 300 whp. Really easy to install and easier to tune.

Edit - see this thread. May be able to help you a little more.
