Voodoo or Stock ECU?

Voodoo or Stock ECU?
Alright so basically I found someone with a brand new Voodoo ecu locally and I'm getting it for $220.. which is a steal.
I plan on turbocharging my NB in the future so I just want to know if this is a good deal to take now. No I do not want MS because I dont want big power. Plus I dont know how to tune, and I dont have anyone local who has a dyno and can tune a japanese car.
I just want a small increase in power, 40-60 hp.
Or can I just use my stock ecu with no problems?

The voodoo box essentially works by feeling the vacuum from the engine is now positive pressure.
It then modifies the factory ECU signal to the injectors and holds them open a bit more.
And in closed loop it fools the ECU by faking the o2 signal.
A megasquirt (or any standalone ecu) will allow the ECU to monitor what's happening and supply the exact fuel/spark needed. More work setting up, but a better running car at the end.
A piggyback is like trying to make your old CRT tv work with HDMI by adding a few adapter boxes to it so that you dont need to move the screen and change the power cord.
Yeah, it works in the end, but you've now got to deal with turning on the extra boxes and having 3 different remotes just to watch TV. And it's still not in high def.
vs a standalone which is like just buying a new flatscreen tv, and just getting rid of the CRT. You have one remote, and the whole thing works much better.
