can you describe the significant benefit?
We've all heard the "in theory" portion of it, but how did your specific cars benefit? what exactly was immediately evident? |
3-5 whp across the board. 6-7 whp peak. On a ~250 whp car.
Not just one glory dyno pull either. Baseline done with ~ 4-5 pulls. Turned up fuel pressure, adjusted fuel tables and improvements were seen on another 4-5 pulls to verify. AFRs, timing, etc were unchanged. Only change was fuel pressure and the resulting rescaling of the fuel maps. Not a BP motor Rhymes with "play money for" |
This is a little off topic. I'm going to miss my local track day club meeting at Road America because I haven't gotten everything worked out yet with new injectors and intercooler. The short of it, the local dyno-tuning place is full up till the end of August. This means I can't tune for timing and switch to e85 and retune for fuel and timing before the event. I have found that Chin Motorsports is running a event at RA and it's in September. My question I guess is does anyone like/dislike Chin. Thoughts?

I've heard good things about Chin events but I personally have never done one.
