but yes, i agree, there should be accommodations for the crankcase breather outlet on this intake. I would use the same fitting as mentioned that people use for the IACV -- or in my case, i literally cut a hole in my silicone intake hose, and pushed the hose up through...
I do know where the PCV valve is. Fortunately I also know how the crankcase breather port relates to the PCV system. If you put a pod filter on the breather port you are letting unmetered air into the engine via the PCV valve.

Wrong in 1.5 ways.

1. Pcv valve is not in the exhaust side valve cover vent. It's in the intake side. And it routes to the intake manifold.
(I now realize what you meant. In the crankcase breather, then through the pcv valve. My second point still applies)

.5 nobody using this is running a maf. So there is no such thing as "unmetered air"

I will be using a MAF. The designer's website instructions also show a maf. The reasoning is that STR in Solo does not allow MAF replacement. I can use a piggyback ECU ala Greddy Emanage Blue but must retain the MAF.

I think a metal valve stem should solve the problem. When I get around to doing this I will post up my results.

Where has everyone had theirs printed from? The suggestion is that it be acetone vapor polished. https://www.makexyz.com quotes me at $82.50 but there is no option for the acetone vapor polish.

Thanks,
Aaron

Try 3dhubs.com, but you could always do the acetone vapor bath yourself to cut cost. If you're a student there's a 25% (?) off coupon you could sign up for.

I used 3dhubs to place my order. I went with Ion Nylon Alloy instead of ABS. I will post pics when it arrives. Thanks!

For those that are wanting to do this and retain MAF and IACV check this out:

3/4" Hose Through Hull Fitting - Straight Through Discharge
and
Through Hull Jet Ski Water Bypass Fitting Bilge 3/8 - Straight Thru | eBay

The 3/4" piece for the IACV is not pictured and I am not sure I can use it. I MIGHT be able to just do a 90* up and into the new anodized part but it would be tight and a pain to attach. I think I am going to have to go the more expensive route with Alec's idea and buy the Silicone Hoses NPT adapter and 3/4" NPT barbed elbow. The PCV part is perfect though!

Update - So the printer has had issues with the material they were using. The piece would fall apart near the end of printing due to structural issues and issues with the material. The shinier piece on the right is the material that they will be using. Unfortunately they ran out of black material and had to order more. They are going to print mine in a silver/gray that they had in stock. You can order yours in black if you choose. They should have it in stock soon.

How did they orientate the part on the printer? Vertical or horizontal? Appears to be horizontal due to support material residue.

Vertical during printing. If you look at the live feed pic I posted previously you can see the brace that was printed to allow vertical printing of the part.

Vertical print, that's pretty nifty.

It is not a Jarden or Taulman nylon. They were too pricey. Not sure what the new stuff is but I will ask.

The part is done and on it's way to me. I don't know if they took pics yet. I will post them if they send me some or post my own pics when the part gets here. I am also waiting on a price to give you folks so you can order if you want. When I am done I will post a detailed parts list and parts source so you can click and buy and bolt it in.

Thanks,
Aaron

Thanks! I've been curious about trying to print Nylon.
