OP is Original Poster, or the originator of the thread... you. There are quite a few shorthand notations that are common on this board that take a bit to learn.

The 6 speed trans is good for more torque before exploding than the 5 speed. The VVT head came on the 1.8 engines from 2001-05 as long as they weren't Mazdaspeed (factory turbo) Miatas.

Seriously every time i read a "you think i can get to this xxx hp?" I want to teleport to that persons house, slash their tires, **** in their seats, go gallagher on their motor, then shoot them.

I replaced my original 1.6 with another 1.6... i should have spent the ~$200 to swap to the 1.8 because i just ended up doing it anyway.

 

Hey all this has been dealt with remember. This is other people getting into it with each other. I turned from my noob ways. I asked a moderator to delete the post already. I have no drama with anyone. Notice I haven't responded to anything on here.

 

That's great to here wish I can do the same. I've stopped the BS newb crap and actually do research on here before posting things. To be honest a lot of people shouldn't even post cause I Guarantee someone else has and it's been answered like you said use the search button.

If the mods were to ban every single person on here who just asked stupid questions, nothing would change. People would (and still do) come here for the information which its members contribute.
