I picked up some motor parts from Craigslist today including a set of "99 EUNOS hot cams"

As far as im' aware there was no factory turbo mx5 variant in '99 in Europe or japan. was something else with the BP motor turbocharged in that year? or any motor with a better set of cams? they supposedly came from Italy.

Is there a way i can check? part numbers, or measurements? i can look more closely at them when i get home tonight.

 

the EUDM/JDM intake cam is the same as in the USDM mazdaspeed cam (but not the same as the USDM 99 miata cam). its a nice bump in power over the stock 99 cam. if you judge them as stock, mild, moderate, aggressive...its a mild.

Thanks for the info. The cams came with a bunch of other parts for cheap, so i wasn't too worried if it was a rip off. maybe i will use them then.
