DW 1000's vs ID 1000's
The DW's are Denso cores, just like the OE injectors (well...MY94+)...and they are drop-in fitment.
The 1000cc are truely 1000cc, and often a little bigger 1025-1050cc range.

Whatever you get, if you are using large injectors, you want to get a Bosch EV14 based injector. This is what ID uses, as well as others like Fuel Injector Clinic.
Most aftermarket injector companies are not manufacturing their own injectors. They are starting with stock injectors (Bosch, Denso, whatever) and modifying them for a larger flow rate and/or to fit the application. The Bosch EV14 is arguably a better injector so that is what I went with. My Bosch EV14 based 1100cc injectors (true 1100cc @ 43.5 psi) bought from FIC, running pump gas, idled better than my Denso 550 (RX7) injectors did. DVCN has the FIC 1100cc injectors now and is happy with them AFAIK.
This was the state of things about a year ago. I do not know if someone has come out with an injector that is as good as or better than the EV14 so I would read up on it.

I spoke with the owner of FIC yesterday and was very impressed. I'm going to be switching my RC for FIC shortly.
This. I was tuning a local's 1.6 the other day. It had 660cc EV14s. The thing idles at 14.7-15.0 with EASE like it was on stock injectors. No noises, no roughness, NOTHING. Highly recommended.
and just to illustrate this:

Check out how much larger the tip is on the EV1 vs the EV14. Takes much more time/energy to move it, and due to less pulling force required on the smaller valve, higher fuel pressure is possible, resulting in (generally) a better spray pattern and/or more fuel per duty cycle.

Nice picture Danish, What injector type are RX8 440's?
When I moved from RX7 550's to RX8 440's the difference in idle quality and AFR stability was remarkable.

The RX-8 injectors are made by Denso so they are not really comparable, but they are a lot worse than the EV14 injectors!
The RX-7 injectors are CRAP-CRAP-CRAP. By far the WORST injectors you can fit, period. Personally I am refusing to tune cars with these injectors on since my last attempt was such a failboat. The RX-8 are better, but compared to the EV14 they suck, but only because the EV14 is so good. Keep in mind that their original application (the RX-8) idled at 10-12:1 AFR, so its not designed (or rather guaranteed) for a smooth 14.7:1 idle.
I thought you were a good tuner??? They aren't THAT bad. But you also gotta remember they come from '86-91 model years and probably aren't in the best mechanical operations to begin with.
I don't have any issues with my 460s and have tuned a few cars running on 550s. Even on MS1 and batch injection, I haven't had trouble.
However, when I tried idling on rx7 550s and one of the injectors had a broken pintle...that was another story.
But I agree they are not the best injector, and factoring in what it costs to buy even RCs, they aren't increibly economical once you need to get them serviced. I think the 460-550s will get you going, but anyone making serious power can't even use them anyways and shouldn't be considered.
i know you guys are still on dw's and id's but my rc1200s still idle low to mid 14s, once in a while high 13s depending on how hot the iat is..... either way i still dont get why people say they cant get them to idle... and rx7 injectors are just that, they came in a car thats 20 years old and older, im sure they might have been good in their time, but with new technology theres no reason to use them...... i think theyre as bad as precisions.... but i still dont have a problem tuning them... if ID had bigger injectors at the time, i probably would have got them just for everything ive heard about the ev14's not just ID in general

I have the begi 1200cc's check out my thread. I idle 100 octane at 16:1 on my 1.6 https://www.miataturbo.net/engine-performance-56/amazing-1200cc-injector-idle-56036/
