Default engine swap- will not start

Just recently swapped my motor with a 94-95 jdm engine, due to my previous engine over boosting and bending a rod from the signal line to the WG popping/breaking off.

put the engine in, connected all the connectors. car will turn over but will not start. what could be wrong? i do not think i am getting any spark. i am using the same engine map that used previously that started up and idled very well. What could be causing me to not have spark? are there any grounds i could have possibly missed? i can here the fuel pump priming and i believe i have fuel. Thanks.

1. Verify no spark while cranking
2. Verify injectors firing
3. Report which one is not there.
