My Hondafold has a GS-R TB on it, but I bought a Skunk 70mm to go on it.

One of these days when I'm feeling less lazy about installing the thing I'll mount it up and *try* to see about doing a before/after dyno. Still have to:

- Clean out the step at the join
- Learn about what changes I need to make to my tune IOT maximize my ROI and protect the engine
- Order coldside parts for larger TB
- Install

Derp.

I'm running a factory B18 TB/TPS on Theseus. I do not have an idle valve, though, since it attaches into the manifold and not the throttle body.

Sav, if you feel like posting anything like a walkthrough for using the Honda TPS with MS, I'd love to see it.

It would make sense to use the honda TB and Idle valve; the linkage should work. But there's no reason you cant adapt it for the stocker.

You could adapt it for the stocker, but even the stock Honda TBs are bigger than ours by about 5mm at the low end.

I'm definitely doing this with my new motor- skunk2 knockoff with stock B series TB. I'll post up details if it hasn't already been done by then

The Honda TPS functions exactly like a Mazda 3-wire TPS.

1. Connect the wires correctly
2. Set the throttle range
3. Win

Cool. I guess I need to look into how the Mazda 3-wire TPS is wired up and how to set a throttle range, lol.

I'm such a useless n00b.

Any junkyard anywhere in the country will have a B18 throttle body for sale.

What do you set your idle to without an idle valve, 1500rpm or so?

I had to run without a valve for a week. Idle was set at 800RPM.

What would you expect to pay for an ITR intake manifold with the BP flange welded to it ready to go?
