Default Manley rod little end bushing

Anyone out there have a clue what the dimensions are for the Manley rod small end bushing? Believe it or not, I called (and ordered) replacement bushings from Manley, and they said this part (14011-4) is a custom run and "they did not have the part in their catalog". Therefore they are asking me to press out the bushing (which I did) and measure it. Then they'll turn a set for me. $8.60/each, so very nice of them to do so.

The problem is, the OD I'm measuring is slightly out of round. I'm getting 0.905-0.9064". No bueno. And if you look at their website, a common size is 0.904". Which is confusing.

No way do I want to be responsible for measuring this and get it wrong... ugh.

TSE sell them so I'd guess Sav will be able to help out.

Can you get a better reading on the small end of the rod than the bushing itself?

my dial bore gauge only goes down to 1.4". And snap gauges are nearly worthless.

Perhaps Savington will know the answer.

Measure wristpin and then ID of rod? Subtract for clearance

Ryan - It is the OD of the bushing that is the problem.

KY - That's it!! So I can only guess that 0.910" OD will crush into the rod small end. 42041S-1 is out of the Manley catalog and I'll just order direct from them.

Thanks a million!

I tried to order from Manley, and they pushed me to Summit.
