Default NB oil temp sensor position

I couldn't find a definitive answer on where to position the oil temp sensor in the pan on the passenger side so it doesn't interfere with the subframe. Here's the two locations i'm seeing - i'd prefer to have it low near the drain plug but there wasn't any followup from E02K if it cleared the subframe or not. I'll be using the following sensor: https://www.diyautotune.com/product/...ith-connector/

I am having the same issue. Hoping for pictures or at least an indication of where to put it.
