That's my IM in the pic and once I received it, I'll post pics of the runners and plenum. As for pricing, I got prototype pricing, but I talked with Rob and he said they will be $600 + shipping and you have to either supply a core stock IM or pay extra so he can get one.

If I want something,I will buy it,regardless of what it cost.

$800 is peanuts compared to what I have spent on my car already.

Is this a 1.6L only deal or is he looking to accomodate 1.8L as well?
Why would someone need to supply a core IM? Or is this just a 1.6 thing?

Notice the fuel injectors on the manifold? On the 1.6L the injectors fit into the manifold, it's easier to cut the runners off and utilize the stock bungs and fuel rail tabs.

On a 1.8L all you'll need is the head flange as the injectors fit into the head.

I know where the injectors go, that's exactly why I asked "Is this just a 1.6 thing?" I figured that was the reason, but making sure was better idea.

I also asked Rob this question and he will make a 1.8 IM as well, but I'd definitely talk to him in further detail, especially since there are different 1.8 IMs, EGR issues, etc....

Well....here is a prettier version. Flipside Intake mani Mk II took a ride over to Rob's place to see Flipside. Flipside has done it again. Here is the new Intake manifold flange for a 1.8. This is a total CAD'd piece. Awesome venturi flanges that have a very light rough surface to the tunnels. Notice how on the edge of the funnels around the intake mani flange there is a lip. The lip will be mated to the intake chamber. Most of the production he says will get a Mustang throttle flange. Expect this to be the best possible intake manifold that you can purchase for a 1.8 and soon to be 1.6. BTW the thing weighs next to nothing. Cant wait to see it completed.

That intake manni is for a 1.8. it was mounted to a junk yard 1.8 head. I have a 1.6 for the M62 build. Thanks though. He will be making a 1.6 in the same exact config, he will making an injector hold for the 1.6 cars since they are mounted different from the 1.8

Ha! Funny. I live in the old Fairwood area just east of Ikea, by Benson Hill. We should have a meet up at some point. My car will be ready for the street somewhat soon, just in time for winter :(
