I ordered mine last month on Sept, 19th from SBGarage... Still haven't received anything yet. I'm from MA though so it could be in the mail somewhere.

People who ordered direct from Skunk's employee through facebook PMs or Instagram have received theirs.
Those that ordered through Skunk's wholesale distributor, like us and SBGarage, seem to be getting shafted.

2017, what a time to be alive. Awesome.

Yea I ordered mine from the Skunk2 website, but I talked to them first by email to confirm that they had some in stock. They sent it out the same day. They even sent me the tracking number immediately.

If someone has one and is fondling it can you please see if the upper manifold can be rotated 180 degrees?

I would love to do a base of windshield intercooler for my 7.

Derp already covered.

I didn't think of flipping the plenum to draw throttle at cowl. HRM.

Pic of mine

Painted the runner black

Runner #1 had a piece of casting sticking up about 1/4" so I removed it and smoothed it out. Runner #2 & #3 had ones that stuck out about 1/8". Runner 4 was indented about 1/16".

Since I already did some work on fixing 3 casting errors I went ahead and smoothed out the parting line flash in the runners and removed the minor defects from the Bellmouths.

Also I enlarged and re tapped the hole on the back of the plenum to 3/8 NPT. This will allow the GM ait to be used.

Thank you.
Isn't anyway I will be giving up my standalone EMS. I like being in control.

I think the argument being made is that Skunk should have done this already before the release of the product. It really shouldn't be up to the consumers to see if their products work.

Or maybe they did, and there were no gains, or hardly any, so they have nothing to brag about, and still decided to release the manifolds, as people often think OEM = Junk and aftermarket shiny = cool and must be better.

That is what I think.

Or in my case I suspected that there would be more room around the manifold. I haven't put mine on the car yet but I suspect it will do the same as the squaretop and will only do better if I had the engine set up to go above 7500rpm. Also with the plenum being able to rotate I will be able to put a BP4W in a Festiva.

I left the video in the gang bang about 5 minutes after you posted it on Saturday for that reason. You never struck me as a guy who hands out gospel.

Thou you are the reason any time I'm driving and I see a Miata the phase " a wild Miata appears!" Pops into my head.

Keep it up man.

The bell mouths on the intake section are a lot different to my Honda Skunk2 Street. It looks like the castings are not as nice probably due to the curved runners requiring a more complex mold.

here is a Honda one:

It was nice to see the insides and see it turned around and stuff, but I think everyone is just awaiting some numbers or results.

Look nice. But the average BP will not be doing over 7,500 rpm.

You are right that the casting has problems in the BP version. I fixed a few of them.

Thank you for showing the difference.
