You're all a bunch of goddamn liars, and you're going to burn in hell!!!
I guess maybe the Miata is so underwhelming stock, a simple 10% over slug still isn't impressive enough to notice in my case. I went from slug v1.0 to slug v1.1 I guess what I'm saying is from my experience, any "power" mods outside of forced induction on a Miata is a waste of time.

Some modifications have such small incremental changes in performance, that you can get a placibo effect. What you think is helping may in fact do nothing at all, or even hurt performance.

More than likely, but you should get in the habit of doing some kind of testing whether it is at a track or dyno.

I'll say I believe him if he says it's true.
BTW- You would not believe how much lightening Miata2fast has done to his car. It stands at attention on it's 4" wide skinny front drag tires because it has so little weight to compress the springs and shocks. Would you believe he is launching so hard on his drag tires he's breaking axles? And he's N/A?
I should really meet even more of the local guys from the forum. I've got no excuse for not knowing more of you.

Hahaha! Just so you know, I've recently had a chance to meet Miata2fast and he isn't some punk kid who is just throwing nonsense out there. He's spent quite a few years going down the quarter and eighth mile and has the legitimate numbers to back up the claims he makes. The fellow with the dyno info that he contributed seems to align with the drag times as well.

I'd like to see a regional meet, though I doubt it would work out. Get all of the queers from Texas, the backwoods, hillbilly kids from Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia, and the beach bums from Florida, and I guess maybe the sister ******* Tennessee guys could come along if they didn't wear orange. And anyone else crazy enough to drive 500 miles for a meet that most people wouldn't show up to anyway. Never have had any luck on other forums getting anyone to drive over about 50 miles for a meet.

I like Atlanta for a centralized southeast location, and its seven hours north of me. Some of these gays would have to drive for 12+hours in marginally reliable, uncomfortable cars to have a get together. Maybe you should organize it. I'll show up.

No, that's OK. I've tried something before and it failed horribly. I doubt many of the people on here are hardcore enough, or willing to make a several day trip out of it (which would be the only way it would be worth a 10 hour drive in an uncomfortable car). ATL would be the ideal place though. Plenty of stuff to do in the area.

GRM also did a very nice "high flow" catalytic converter comparison test which measured HP and emissions. I think there was a 5hp variance in the range. This was on a stock miata I think.
Bestest muffler is a turbo. Have you ever heard a catless/mufflerless/resonatorless turbo? It is ******* awesome.
