back to my question, does anyone make a set of 1+ mm valves that can be used with the stock lifter set up for 99+ and vvt heads? Would it be better of contacting the manufacturer and asking for custom length valves?

I did a general "si valves" and theres tons of stuff, its to generic, any other keyword to narrow it down? is SI the manufacturer? or did the come off a civic si? Did you post the info or was it someone else? I just bought a set of Manley race valves which where more then the super techs, if they arent going to work for my 99 head i may end up flipping them. I tried pming you but your box is full.
thanks

Ignoring all the advice, I went ahead and got some shorter shims online. So far so good. 200 miles later and no clatter or other reolated problems.
Now on to the next problem: Overheating. It wasn't doing that before the engine-swap. Oh well.....
