New Version 2 Fluidamper units are HERE! Pictures inside!
Hey guys, we finally have inventory on these new units! HERE is the link.
A lot of you jumped on the release of the Fluidamper solution that was available late last year - Huge kudos for creating the need for competition in this area!
Since it's release, we raised a couple of flags with the Fluidamper team and they quickly went to work on Version 2. The bigger difference between the ATi unit and the Fluidamper was that the ATi included a full hub, replacing the cog gear and the critical keyway that aligns the unit. The Fluidamper install maintained the factory, problematic keyway and simply bolted to the front of your timing cog assembly. Sometimes these OEM hubs were already damaged so throwing a heavier balancer on them magnified the issue.
The OLD BALANCER can be seen here, with a simple 4x 10mm OEM bolt installation (note there is no hub support or keyway):

Here is the NEW design, with a fully integrated hub/keyway:

The price was excepted to change and there is a very good chance that after they complete our very old stocking order, these units will increase due to the additional steps in production. Please let me know if you have any questions!

I also want to know if they have to be pressed on or if they gently slide on. Also, can I reuse my existing 36-2 timing trigger wheel I already have that works with the stock harmonic balancer or do I need a new style trigger wheel?
This pulley looks like a good solution but I would like the ability to run the 96-97 stock trigger wheel. It looks like the stock trigger wheel goes in between the "timing belt guide" section of the damper and the pulley, is that right?
