Thank you all for your support.

I'm wondering if any other members purchased his intake manifolds when they were first produced and what their experiences were.

I can't see any IG posts since I'm blocked but I trust he is alive.

no comment on current situation. I have a manifold/downpipe from hellafab. well over 30 track days/races on it and other than 2 small repairs, it's held up respectably well.

not trying to **** on anybody, just putting my hand up as a happy customer. carry on.

Alex,

I gave you several options and even offered to build you a totally new intake manifold with a quick turn around-provided you mailed yours back in the spring.

You went about it your own way and that's fine. I apologized for the issues at the time, no need to go public when you already had an offer but had a buddy modify it.

I realize you paid your friend to fix it, that was because of your own timelines not because I wouldn't have made it right.

Matt,
-You were behind schedule by over a month on this one.
-You admitted your mistake.
-I would have had to pay to ship it back.
-You left me no choice with the time that you were aware of from the start.
-I'll gladly ship the whole thing back if you issue full refund and we can start over. I'm asking for far less than that though.
-I've been a man of my word throughout this entire process.

Endura,
Not pissed off in the least and I'm glad everything worked out for you. You have an NA with no AC/PS...the wrong jig was used in my setup is all.

Was able to dyno the HellaFabrication parts,

-BorgWarner EFR 6758
-Built Block
-Little head work
-Dynopack
-295whp 271tq @14psi (well ramped to 18psi then dropped to 14psi)

The tuner could of made more power but the alternator crapped out.. I need something stronger, probably an FD alternator.

Seems a bit weak for a 1.8 with a 6758 and baller parts. Do Dynapacks typically read low? Which head is on the car?

Looks like something isn't scaled properly. Isn't hp and torque supposed to cross at 5252rpm?

They do, look at the scales on the side. They aren't on the same scale.

HP scale on right, torque scale on left. Not sure why they used different vertical scales; looks odd to me as well without the mandatory cross of tq/hp.

Surprised 200tq is that far into the rpms.

Dyno pull should have been started 2k rpm earlier. I bet it wasn't loaded earlier in the range.

correct. n00b dyno operator
good power for such low boost, but should be capable of quite a bit more

Is it, though? My car just made 301 at 15 psi on an archaic 2871R. This is a 6758 we're talking about here. And I'm on a regular old VICS intake mani with skunk2 throttle body.

Am I missing something?

Absolutely no reason why a dynopack pull should start above 2000rpms.
