Well, first and foremost, MT has no control over payments.
Unless paypal is trying to jack you for $3.50 or you signed up twice, not sure what to tell you. Sent you a pm, waiting to hear back. |

Nothing else. LOL You're the 2nd person to say they were double billed $3.50 Def. contact paypal. I have no issues refunding the $3.50 or even adding that 1 month on to the end or something. But really paypal needs to here from the people they are double billing. And in fairness, this is the first time i have heard of paypal double billing, though a google search shows me otherwise. |
Not complaining; I don't think I'll go broke because of it. I was just letting you know it happened to more than 1 guy. I'll contact paypal and straighten it out with them.

Paying My Fee Twice
I just noticed that for the last eight months, I have been charged the $3.5 twice each month. Anybody knows who do I contact or how you can simply stop one of the payments?

im not paying $3.5 at all..you should contact them and see whats going on..they should only be taking 3% commission on payments that are incoming

Rick; I was facing this same issue with duplication of monthly membership fees and complained to Paypal. I just got a message from Paypal telling me your site had canceled my subscription. I want to pay for year and forget about it. How do I go about doing that?

Thanks I seen the 10 complaints you filed, the issue is all 10 complaints were refuted because service was delivered. That said, no one new you were double paying and if that was the case or had it been mentioned, you would have been easily refunded by me (and still will be). But so we are clear. I cannot initiate a payment. All payments are started by the end user. Why some of you got nailed 2x is unclear to me and of course paypal doesn't tell me crap because I am not you. Anyhow Rafa, I have canceled your subs today as you seen and refunded the one month. I have no choice now but to wait till PP ends the disputes and then just refund you myself. In the complaint, had you put double paid or something to that affect it would have shed a totally different light on the Undelivered Goods complaint x10. You can pay for a year through the same payments page. If you do, please ensure you cancel 10 seconds after if you do not want it to renew. The payments page is here: Payments. So anyhow, coles notes. Paypal has locked the disputes and if they fall in our favor, I will still be refunding you. |

As I said, once the procedure resolves itself, if it ends up in my favor, I will still refund you as that shouldn't have happened. :) I pm'd you earlier my number if there are any issues. Rick |

subscription goof
I changed my paypal accounts email address to something thats easier to use. The one I had it linked with doesnt let me reply sometimes. Well in doing that, I messed up my MT subscription some how. So I fixed that but now Im not subscribed. So do I need to pay, or should it do it automaticly?

Hey I just had a similar problem. I changed funding sources and I got a PP notice that my subscription was canceled. How can I be sure I don't get dropped? I'd hate to lose all the info I have in my PMs. PP seems like it's OK now but I'm still not sure if MT is getting my money.

Just do the year. It's cheaper ($40) and you only have to do it once a year.

That happened to me. I lost my vendorness for a day, and had rick on my email telling me I'd failed payment. Paypal is easy, but completely stupid sometimes.

ForuMedia just hit me for my automatic $40 renewal on 4/12 but today the ads were back, PM box is full and I lost my avatar. Tried to send a PM but it says my box is full as I'm now over the standard 50 or 100. Can you fix this please? Thanks, John |

Subscription problem
Rick, my subscription payment in October has failed twice. I want to PM you, but I have 516 out of a possible 25 PMs. :giggle: Do you need the subscription number? item number? I don't see a transaction id in the e-mail they sent me.

I am having a similar problem, even though I got payment conf through paypal with the automatic re-up. Whassup?!

I think my problem was caused by getting a new credit card with an updated security code. You would think paypal would have handled that correctly since the card was updated with them. I ended up deleting the subscription and signing up again and the problem is gone.

Problem with my deal is that my paypal account was already charged.

Restore subscriber status please
I am posting here because I am not going to clear out my PM box just to send a PM to a mod.
I was just charged a couple of days ago for my subscription, $40 through paypal. I cancelled the automatic renewal, and subsequently lost my subscribed user status. Seeing as how I just paid $40 for a year I should have my subscriber status for one more year, auto renewal or not. Please restore my subscriber status or send me back my $40. Thanks |

Because my PM limit was knocked down with the demotion, my PM box is 900% full. I have to delete almost all of the PMs out of my account just to be able to send him a PM. I am keeping them for info so I do not want to do that.

I'm on a monthly subscription and I just renewed. I was charged $3.50 twice this month. Last time I created a subscription it didn't do this on the first month. Am I missing something? :dunno:

Hi Luis, everything related to paypal requires a transaction ID to be resolved half quick.
I know you have prolly read that a few times in this section if you searched paypal. Its a pain, but really it does make finding transactions that much more smoother. The thing with paypal is the forum MT cannot take money. Money / funds can only be pushed. At some point there was a double sub set up. Both are now canceled. You should also see a refund for both in your account. This means your account will drop back to normal status. You will need to renew to reset the system. Its a tedious way to do things, but it is the best way to make sure your account doesn't have this happen again. |
