Why is the search function only giving me threads from the last ~24 hours?

Why is the search function only giving me threads from the last ~24 hours?

I'm pretty sure I'm clicking the 'Search' button correctly. There are no other operations involved in this action, correct?

Yeah I just searched "turbo" and only 40 result threads lol. it might be some sort of result cap at 40..but that is mega fail as well.
