That was an awesome 3v4 game...too bad I couldn't use my high templars before they are finally quit.

What defeats hydralisks better? the colossus? Cause they would rape my stalkers, and my Zs couldn't even get close. And since they had an overseer attached, I couldnt get close with the DTs. I bet the HT would have pwnt them with psynoic blast, but alas I wasn't able to use it before they all surrendered.

edit: liquidpedia says colossus, dunno why I built none.

 

What you need is about 5 sentries and about 3 colossus they melt away hydras are actually useless against protoss. I have also had tons of luck using blink stalkers.

 

this was probably like 30 fully upgraded stalkers vs 50 upgraded hydra, we got melted away. i get too narrow minded and forget to pump out different units.

 

ahh yeah that is what I noticed I normally go robo units and blink stalkers against zerg to protect against muta harrass. Its also a good thing in late game to get Psy Storm HTs. It melts zerg like butter on a gay mans hairy *** crack.

 

yeah, i started pumping them out, i had about 10 to behind a line of 20 DT and maybe 20 more stalkers and a few voids. I was ready to pwnsauce, and then they saw me coming and they all surrendered.

I think the best was when we double teamed the toss guy's colossus...I had an observer on them so my team of stalkers went behind them to flank and then Alex's marines met them up front....we destroyed them in seconds and he quit... it was awesome.

 

psy storms rape zerg units. I had a mass army of hydras and i was flattened with only 5 HTs pumping psy storms. that ruined my day. since then I don't use hydras and stick with 3-3 lings, blings, and mutas. maybe transitioning into brood lords, but broods are way to slow and are only good for end game base crushing.

 

that was the first time ive ever tried using them. i was so excited to give it a shot too...

i guess i was too busy loling at Alex's nukes to worry about anything else.
