Hey Meaty, you might want to check if your SC manifold will work with a 99 head..... I know that the normal intakes don't......

I found a pic the other day on Randy's page, that showed the intake manifold gasket up against the intake side of a '99 head. It's a no-go.

Great thoughts and idea's guys, keep 'em comin

But basically the reason I was looking at the MSM motor, was it was built to rev to 8k, instead of 7.5k, and in a SCC article, an interview with one of the engineers said that the MSM motor was based off the '99-00 head as far as flow design, ect. And I figured it'd at least be *slightly* beefed up for boost.

But now that the motor I was looking at on ebay is up around $1500, I ain't gonna bother.
