ok so i live out here in phoenix AZ and one of the worst things happened yesterday my miata got flooded out in about a foot and a half of water in the parking lot at work due to shitty drainage so here the problem stand i let it sit a good amount of time in the sun with hood open and top down doors open to dry.. so i went to start it and bang it fired up mind you it was running like complete **** revving high then it would drop to the point of almost stalling then rev high again it did this for two minutes then shut off now i have no spark ive checked my under the dash fuses ecu one is fine..basically i would like to know a good starting point on troubleshooting this issue

 

Sounds like an electrical issue. Probably from testing your Miata as a boat.
