Great image quality- very stable.

Is this from your Sony MiniDV camera?

Thx and yes this is from the Sony miniDV cam(DCR-HC38). The mount is box steel running accross the laterals on the hardcore bar mounted w/3" muffler clamps (insulated with fuel line and radiator hose where it clamps to the roll bar). I found a SLIK camera mount that is made to clamp to tripod legs and can position in any direction works pretty well. Will post some picts later and P/N for the camera mount itself.

Your car sounds like my hybrid escape in comparison.
I did put a flange post diff in my exhaust, so I can make it loud by swapping the muff. Just haven't gotten the urge. Maybe the next time on the dyno, just to see how bad a cheap muff chokes the car.

Your vid I'm asumming has a hard top on or soft top up? Mine was with it down. FYI: The exhaust is 2.5" (all the way back) FM high flow mid w/high flow cat to fm turbo duals. It's loud when you step on it - thats how I got ticketed in town a few weeks ago blaring by a hiding cop (it was a bad morning lol)

I don't think they ticket anybody in this town for loud exhausts. The damn Harleys are outta control.

Scott that actually sound good to me- I could hear the engine. Man I don't miss autoXing... that's hard work.

Wasn't for the exhaust noise - it was for speeed I'm pretty paranoid about running gap now tho with all the cops up there - I have a clear lic plate cover I hear they are stopping ppl for that too.. So probably gonna have a road trip in ~month to NC mountains and will make some vids up there on a few fun roads that are still not mainstream yet and not heavily patrolled (very similar if not more fun than the gap). Having a baby kinda puts a damper on the road trips but we're still squeezing the trips in here and there (at least this way my tires last longer). FYI: In the vid I was running bald rears (toyo T1Rs), just got the Azenis on and much better traction so should be amusing

lol so I didn't realize how many rere vids there are of tuner cars doing the 50mph punch etc... I'll have to turn my cam sideways and create some new vids to show all the true ricers miatas are fast too The mount is pretty damn cool I can move the cam L-R accross the box steel bar and point in about any direction so you can get shots of cars next to you / behind etc.. Not enough turbo miata vids out there that arn't pure autox or drag. So try not to laugh too hard :gay: when I make some new ones. I've been watching rev2red's vids
