99 Miata Red Cluster Lights DIY..kinda
So I got a new head unit yesterday and it is red, seeing how nice that looked at night made me want to change the rest of the interior.
I yanked out my cluster and got to work, popping the tabs off, using a fork to get the needles off and then unscrewing the faces. Once they were off I flipped them and sanded down till there was no more green with a sanding block. Then I got some red spraypaint, did 2 coats, and slapped it all back together
Heres the result, and spots that looks dimmer than others it my camera. Looks OEM IRL.
Last bit is now to change the rest of the lights

When I owned a Lexus SC300, you could change the digital display color quite easily. There was a film over it that you could place even a colored saran wrap to have it output the color you wanted.
Miatas work the same? hehe.
as for the needles that will be pretty easy.
Ill do it in a couple days when thanksgiving break starts
