Anyone running the Sport Max 501's?

As far as the fitment and tire stretch on the 501's goes it really depends on ride height and camber settings as to if it will look correct on the car. The car will need to be lowered more than optimum lowered ride height. Best looking as when the tire is just about or barely tucking in the fender wells. Once it's sitting that way with enough camber to clear without hitting the fenders (should be 1.5-2 degrees) you won't even notice the tire stretch.
I do agree that stretching a 195 width tire on an 8in wide rim is somewhat retarded since you could fit 225's on them. However, since 195's are the same/close to stock width i think its an OK balance. They look a world better than the stock wheels IF the car is lowered correctly. Other wise they look like a sore thumb. Another thing is that due to the fact the offset is so low from the rear of the car they look dune buggyish. They really need to be 9in wide adding the extra inch inside the wheel to fill up the wasted room and allow you to stretch a little larger tire. And yes 9in wheels fit fine I along with many others have ran them.
Everyone’s got there opinion but for the comment "nopi > going fast"; if you can't equalize the two and find a happy medium the cars not even worth working on/building. I guaranty that even working on performance mods you've said to yourself hey it would look better if you ran the lines this way, or I should paint/clean this part before putting it back on.
Here's a great example! Rob's setup is absolutely sick.

The difference between the 002 and 501' s is that the 002 is 0 offset and the 501 is 15mm offset, that is why i am interested in the 501's, it should be easier to "make" them fit

my car. soon to be finished with the turbo install this week.
its been slightly lowered after these pics, and no rubbing. but i will roll the fenders in the future to drop it more a little.
for their size they are NOT heavy at all. it has been weighted at 14.9 pounds each i believe. keep in mind these wheels are quite wide as well.

I'm thinking about selling my rotas with azenis for some 002's with 225 tires. I'll pick up betrayed's newer na flares along with them. I'd love to get some 6ul's but I just can't for out the $1k+ for wheels and tires right now.
I'm still debating my course of action though.
