Default Anyone tried an Ebay head gasket set?

Hey guys,

I will be having the head rebuilt soon, and am debating between the OEM gaskets and the ones I see on Ebay.

Anyone advise one of the aftermarket ones or should i just do it right and go with the Mazda ones?

Thanks

Hmm, that doesnt sound good, i think i'll probably just spend the extra and go oem, big price difference but i dont want to have to take this engine apart again...

Have used both of these with no problems. Match up the holes on the old one to be sure.

I have found that the aftermarket valve stem seals for the Miata are junk. Go OEM for those.

Yeah I'd go OE as Rich said I ordered a generic MLS gasket and it was missing the oil port cut out for the head...but my dumb *** was drunk when I put the head gasket on *NEVER DO IT AGAIN* so I junked a head (scared cam journals)
so I'm waiting on a head from this place called Maz-Max (horrible service so far) so I can get it to the machine shop.

There is a big difference in price b/w oe and these ones.

I may just give these ones a try...
