Atlanta/SE Dyno Day Redux
I figure with the fresh batch of standalone installations that need to be tuned, plus steady progress by those of us with existing installs, it may be time to get everyone to the dyno again.
What do you guys think? What about Saturday August 14, 21, or 28? Facility preference?

We could even go to something like Sat, September 8 which would give you a couple weeks, and everyone else 5 weeks. If there is interest in proceeding, I will call around and lock down a deal at a facility for us.
I think we have some cars with a lot of potential here, and a lot of smart people wrenching on them. So even though we have fewer cars, we should be able to give the NE guys a good run.

I can probably do sept 8 though i have to check my rifle schedule. I'll definitely need some tuning though, that's for sure. Maybe DIY will come out with a ***** on accurate spark timing table for me to start with. BOA is a technical term.
Don't change dates just for me though, i also have a T3 manifold sitting in my room awaiting a turbo and downpipe so I can get my boost fever on. Which means i need to start looking for a T3 to replace my SR20 T25 and the tubing i need to adjust my IC piping and build a downpipe. Like i said, maybe in the spring or something if need be.

OK F- Google. Yahoo FTW

Dynojet, so power pulls only, no load tuning. It's in Smyrna, which sucks for me, but I think is fine for everyone else. Even Chad if he's coming down 75.
If we get enough participation, $40 for 3 runs. There is also a cash discount.

Battleground says 10 cars or more at $45/ea on Saturday Sept 22. Their shop is not air conditioned. Last Saturday they did 3 pulls for $40, and had about 30 cars show up. They said they won't do that again for 4 months.
BPM says $550 for 4 1/2 hours. Unlimited pulls/cars, whatever you can do in 4 1/2 hours. Their dyno room is literally cold as *****. They will take us on Sept 15.
Thoughts?

yeah spend a hundred fifty on gas to save $15 on a dyno pull...
I left messages with 2 other shops--1 dynojet, 1 mustang--so maybe we'll get some more options.
If we can get enough people, I like BPM for the fact that their shop is 60-something degrees, instead of 100.

well allright then.
it's not a matter of if we can get time, but if we can all agree on a time. as getting a dyno day is going to require 10 people to make it worthwhile as far as discount pricing goes. most shops here charge no more than $65 for 3 pulls if you set a standard appointment.
