BEGi V-Band S4 2860RS
I got my stuff in today for my V-band setup from BEGi. The turbo is a GT2860RS with the .64 turbine. As of now i don't need 375HP at the track, so I went with something that will give me the least lag possible. I will post more pictures tonight as it took 5 minutes for my phone to email just this one picture to myself.

Can you post some more photos of the collector?
|
Yeah, what else you want pics of? I will put them up tonight when I have a real camera.
|
Wearin' my strip club pants when I come over Saturday.
|
God I hate cell phone pics.

Mostly photos of the manifold from several different angles.

Woah, talk about a bad design.

It looks like form the pics that the runners come straight in on the sides, but they don't.
|
More pictures are up on Bells site guys. Don't have to wait for his.

The standard S4 has a really nice collector. Why'd they decide to bring the side runners in at a 60+ degree angle on this manifold?
Also, take a shitload of detailed photos of your turbine housing for me, specifically the inlet and the overall size compared to the exit flange. I want to compare to my .86 housing. |

Oh I didn't see that they had put more up on the website.
|
I had both .86 and .64 turbines on my old 2871. There was a big difference in physical size/girth. This was obviously with the garrett turbine but I'm sure the tial is the same way. Sorry, no pics.
|
I definitely have a lot of girth.

This thing has some heft to it in the manifold. The runners have much thicker walls than the S4 manifold I just pulled off it. Don't get me wrong, the S4 is not fragile, but this thing is robust.
It is not an ebay manifold with a brace. That guy was sent a manifold to see if he could make them for BEGi and ended up just copying it badly and sending the manifold back. |

what? the garrett .64 and .86 housings are almost indistinguishable on the outside. why would the tial be much different?

This housing has spent more time in the back of a shipping truck than it has spent in both Tim's and my possession combined. It's like the village whore. :giggle: |
