Now, I'm a cheap **** on certain issues, but if you have a difference of 180 dollars staring you in the face... you have think: "What can I buy for 180 dollars?" Thats quite a significant difference. You can spend some of that money on crazy *** slim line fans

For ease of installation and fitment, esp if you have a large front swaybar, the 37mm will be good. I ran an older FM race radiator which was apparently a PWR 37mm, bonded core. With an MP62 and IC the car ran well within operating temps on track, even during 30-40 sessions in South Florida. However, I don't know how a turbo will affect cooling capability since it is going to add some heat into the system that the SC did not. I had to replace the leaking FM rad, and needed one quickly, so I got the thick CSF radiator. The OEM fans are going to need massive trimming to fit between the new radiator and RB hollow front bar. I'm probably just going to mount the 2 12" fans I have directly to the core using brackets based off the standoffs on the radiator.

I see your point...there is a pretty big difference if I can actually get one for $160 shipped. I'll give it a week and see how the story goes there and decide. I have two slimline fans anyways so I'm not concerned about clearance just which is better and does the job better than oem (which I assumed both did).

third one down for $255 is what i purchased when i found out about the 5 week godspeed backorder. it is made by CSF.....stock dimensions but the core is twice as thick. the installation was perfect, all of their mounts lined up exactly as stock.

when i heard of the GS backorder i basically just made myself a guinea pig and took my chances when i ordered that one. i had no idea of the brand or quality when i made the purchase, it was just the right price. when it showed up i was really happy with the quality and was extremely impressed with the fit.

I decided on the CSF after reading through the Spec Miata website, and talking with a couple SM guys. They seem to be very happy with CSF, allegedly does a better job than Koyo of the same size.

Dan, if you deal with CG over the phone he can tell you immediately whats going on, they get containers frequently, so it is safe to assume that he knows exaclty when it will be there, they are pretty cool guys over there from dealing with them so far, and yes a lot of businesses will lie to keep money, but keep in mind, this guy already made a shitload with us by doing volume not gross, they help us we help them, if you want a cheap radiator thats pretty good in quality, then go for GS, if you want to be flashy then go with Koyo or other name brand
you dont have to order the rad until they come in stock, just wait until he tells you that they are in stock and order than and you will get it prolly the same week, they ship fast...
