Default Best way to massage fender liner tabs?

I just installed 215/45/16 Azenis to replace the 205/40/16's and they fill out the fender much more than I had anticipated. They clear the fender just fine, but they rub on the tabs that secure the fender liner to the outer fender. Can I move these so that they are more vertical and still keep the fender liner?

Don't see why not unless you break the liner itself at those mounting points. Many people just take the liners out at that point though.

easy to do...just take out the fastners and/or screws that attach the liner to the tabs. support the outside of the fender with your palm and use your finger tips to bend the tabs upwards. They're really soft and you should beable to fold them all the way against the inside of the fender. If you want leave the car outside to get nice and hot before doing it. soften the paint a little but with those tabs I've never had any issue with cracking or chipping.
