I just got one like this today, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BLOW-...13014931QQrdZ1

It works and fit right where I had the Bosch, But the spring is to strong for my low greddy PSI's

I got tired of paying $10 for the Lowes check valves. (I am on my 3rd one) But so far they worked better.

Which valve are you running?

If you are still MAF and have stumbling problems let me know, I can send you a stiffer secondary spring.

Green 5-15
Yellow 15-23
Blue 23-30
Red 30+
Often times its hard to tell the green and yellow apart...
The numbers are approximate but usually work out pretty well. You want to use the softest spring possible but if you go to soft its possible for the valve to open partially due to latency and pressure drop. Eventually it will usually close but your spool can really take a hit.

Did you buy the valve from us? If it isn't one of ours don't go by colour for the springs measure the coil thickness and go from there.

The 1G DSM BOV leaks air at idle, not an issue if you are recirc'ing it or are running a MAP based system.

TurboXS RFL or Tial!

I just ordered a forge dual piston bov. I can put my impressions here if you still haven't decided which one you want Tom. Pat was extremely helpful in everything when I was ordering the valve. I will recommend the forge to all my friends if the valve works out great. Thanks Pat.

I just got the forge bov today. Sounds awesome. Holds great under vacuum, and responds extremely quick to any throttle responses. Sounds real close to how the tial sounds, at a lower price. I love it, thanks PAT.

I got this one,http://www.forgemotorsport.com/conte...oduct=FMDV004A, but in a 34mm variant. If you want the price, pm PAT! and work with him. I love the sound and will be recommending this valve for all of my friends cars. It also reacts super quick to any pressure transients. Also because of the dual piston, I see very little change in the AFR's when shifting or letting off the gas.

I have a forge on my Saab Aero, and have MANY VAG friends that have them as well. Sounds pretty good at 17lbs. I did enjoy my HKS's flutter on my Integra. But Forge is a good quality product!!!!! I may hit a Tial for the Miata WOW!!!

I will try and get one tommorrow or the next day and give you guys a link. It is just real nice and smooth sounding. Granted, it is a lot louder even at lower boost than what I would have thought. At 1psig, I can hear it pretty well. I will try and get some multiple levels to give you an idea.
