Default Yo dawgs, what color should I paint my gangster-*** new rims?

Despite the ridiculous thread title, serious thread.

Just picked these up for 250 for a set of four:

They're old BBS wheels off of a Sirocco. They need a fair bit of restoration, surface rust all over and the paint is chipping and fading, so that leaves me with the question of what to do with them (as in, restoration-wise).

I was thinking a gold/silver job, I was thinking something like this:

Any thoughts?

Although I'm usually so in on getting the most JDM out of parts, I say that the gold/silver combo may work with your car. That or black/silver.

Could I get a better picture of your wheels? From what I can tell it looks to be the same color scheme that I'm thinking of.

Most cast wheels dont get serious heat treating, so when you bake them it can cause bubbles in the casting to expand.
So cast wheels have been heat treated properly and wont have this problem, and of course forged wheels wouldnt have this problem.

I dont personally know of any failures, but if it were a car I was going to track I woudlnt want to risk it.

+1 on the Gold & Silver, I had that style BBS wheels on my old Volvo 240. Only downside is that those wheels are a total PITA to clean. It would take me longer to get those wheels spotless then it would to wash the entire car!
