CF hood + turbo = fail? What to do about the heat?

Default CF hood + turbo = fail? What to do about the heat?

Just got my new cf hood and want to make sure i dont fade or discolor the look of the brand new cf under that clear coat. So my question is, for those of you who have a cf hood and are turbo what do you do about head shielding and have you noticed any discoloration?

Also what kind of maintenance is needed for cf products or does one just treat it like a regular painted panel?

Just wax it regularly for maintnance.

Any heat shield over the turbo should do, but I'd have to recommend a turbo blanket first, then build a shield to cover the whole setup-mani, turbo and DP.

Pull the turbo, hang the Dp on your wall and drive around NA you ------!!!

Or you can jack up your car and look at it from underneath...

my cf hood is perfectly fine with the turbo. i have the turbo heatshieild from begi tho so maybe that helps

agreed... most of them are heavier than the stock hood anyways.
