Default Charcoal canister being boosted

I just realised that I've got no one way valve on my charcoal canister and it has been getting boost for years. My car has always had a fuel smell after a firm drive, I guess this could be why.

Also, my mileage totally sucks, but I doubt this is contributing to it.

I'm fitting the one way valve today, I'll post back in a week or so and let you know the results.

Anyone else here been running like this?

Wow I never thought about that... Where did you get this one way valve?

It's a fairly standard thing at an automotive store, or you could grab one from a wrecked factory boosted car. My MSM had one. I think you yanks call it a check valve.

Yes, check valve. I have one, which reminds me I need to pull it off to include with the turbo kit I just sold!

Charcoal canister? You still run that thing? I deleted mine when I went standalone.

Pretty sure on OBD1 as long as the solenoid is still hooked up you wont get a CEL.
