Title says it. I need a ring compressor for stock 1.8 pistons/ rings. I recently honed my 2000 block, need to install new. Hook me up bros. Paid shipping to/ from.

 

They are less then $10 at Sears, its cheaper to just buy one new then bother shipping it back and forth.

 

i think someone just wants a box full of ******.

I don't think I have a ring compressor though.

 

Sometimes I wonder how many brain cells OP actually has.

 

I used this one years ago to install my pistons in my built motor and it worked fine. I am pretty sure I leant it out to a friend to use and have never gotten it back. At $8 I will just buy another one when I need it.

But guys, that requires GOING TO THE STORE AND GETTING ONE.

one is that is slightly more expensive, but if you have Amazon prime it will be to you in 2 days. No need to even put on your man thong when you order, or when you open the door tfor the UPS guy to grab it.

The tapered ring compressors do make life easy compared to what's posted here. We make B&B's, I'll check the scrap bin for an 83mm. I found an 84.5 compressor for my engine in the scrap because it was engraved wrong.

 

LMK. I'd rather use a tapered one.

 

I have tapered compressors for 83.5/84/85.5 and I don't know how I survived so long without them.

 

During my ordering, I decided to ship instead of store pickup. It came today. Piston #4 is the only one I had rings on, and I just got home from work. Just decided to tap it home just to try this thing out. Works amazing.
