Default Corbeau Low Mounting Options

Hello, I've been trying to find a good fix to the issue of sitting lower in my Corbeau seat. I have the FX1 Pro, a notoriously tall seat for a Miata. Currently I use their bottom mount bracket but am unable to sit in the car with a helmet on as my head hits the roof. I've been trying to find a good side mount bracket that would allow me to sit in the car comfortably. The only thing I've seen that could possibly work is the PCI bracket, but they advertise it as a Sparco mount. Anyone run this with their Corbeau or know if it fits around the sides of the seat? If not, does anyone know another good bracket? I realized that I should have not bought the Corbeau for this very reason, but now it's too late.

Thanks for the help

I'm using the FX1 Pros with the PCI brackets in our NA. No problems fitting under a hard top with helmet at 5' 10".

It required a good bit of hammering on the trans tunnel to get the PCI bracket in, and you need to cut the 'feet' off the bottom of the FX1 seat, as Keith Tanner documented here: Targa Miata blog seats

It works, but I'm planning to put in a drop floor and re-do the mounts when I put a full cage in the car.
