I wonder how this would be in my car with a 5 speed/ 4.30's.

6spd with 3.636 (welded diff)
I feels these gears are perfect. I go through the traps top of 4th.

I had major wheel hop and traction issues even with solid diff mounts and solid mount connect diff to the 6 point brace. I pretty much launched at 3000 rpm at like 30% throttle and feathered it in to try and minimize the hop

 

Oh tires are 205/50/15

 

Next time try launch control and go from second gear.

i tried that with my old turbo car, and it wasn't a great success for me, but that day wasn't to good in general.

13.3 @107 with a mis-shift. After i didn't feel like messing with cameras.

5 speed and 3.9 felt dog slow to me. No getup and go at lower RPM. 6 speed+3.9 was much better. I'm also 1.6 lowlife.

 

Yeah 1.6 isn't gonna move those gears, before I did the k swap I was 3.636 and a 5spd with I tired stock 1.6. It was a joke.

the solid grunt from this 2.4 blows my mind. It's only gonna go faster.

 

Wow that thing is quick, those tires aren't particularly grippy either.
