Default Damn Sensor

can you find this sensor at autozone etc.......... or do i have to order it? it just snapped in half when i took of the thermostat housing to change the thermostat and flush my radiator...

mazda charges $30 for it. it's the thermoswitch. you can drive without it. however jump your fans, it's what turns them on. or if you are getting daring, build the MS fan circuit and have the MS control your fans


im sure a few guys here have them.

well im gonna be having it out of the car what do i do to jump the fans with ms???? and that damn thing is 25 for a aftermarket

for MS to control it you have to build a little circuit.

rockauto.com has an excellent web-based parts catalog with part pictures that I've used to identify all kinds of OEM parts. The prices are pretty good on the knock-off stuff ($35 for a fog-light assy that Dodge wanted $170 for my work truck).

yup, mine went before, i think i was gone when i got the car because my fans never went on and i was wondering why but there not that bad about 30$ just like brain said the thermoswitch
