do I need to resurface the manifold flange?
The turbo flange is surfaced, but the ceramic coating **** is on the manifold flange now. I'd rather do it once, than pull it off and do it right the 2nd time.

i am just useing a stock multi layer steel gasket on the head and a stock singal steel fel-pro SVO mustang gasket on the turbo with copper spay on both and have NEVER re-torqued anything and i have never had a problem. now the shinney "paper core" gaskets is a different story.

just because your mani is nice and straight, doesn't mean your turbo and head it. i tried to run without a turbo to mani gasket once, it was leaking like crazy. it has been a gasket and copper spray for me then on.
