Yeah, that's not making 200whp at 3psi man. 200whp on a stock ECU is quite a feat, it's been done of course, but only at 12+psi with a shitload of band-aids.

No way you're making that power.
I guess the dyno is lying then. I did 3 pulls, first 201, second 200.7 and third 200.3! I don't think that's a lot of power but the car f***in moves. I definitely gotta change the boost gauge to make sure I'm running 3psi
You need to check and see what spring you have in the wastegate too.
What ate you using to control timing?
No timing either but I just put in a REAL gauge and it reading 8psi which I know is accurate because my wastegate came with an 8lb spring!
How many decibels was the DET can reading?
Are you sure you're reading psi and not bar?
It was a digital bar only gauge which read 0.3 bar at full boost, which calculates to about 3-4psi but when I put in this anolog gauge it reads accurate at 8psi no bar on it!
Don't go into boost ever again Until you get proper management... I'm serious.
Not in for part out. Part out will consist of bend rods, holy block, and melted pistons. |

Idk if you guys can read it but its 201hp and 156tq @6700 rpm on stock ecu on 3lbs of boost!
No. I run the world's biggest turbo on a miata and, No. What the fuk wastegate will even go down to 3psi?

Ok like I said before my old gauge read wrong my new gauge reads right at 8ps. My bad and getting it tuned to maybe 12-15psi is in the very near future. I barely drive it because of that reason and it also drinks more fuel than a Cummins. This motor was built to handle power and it doesn't lean out at all so I don't think it'll brake but I don't wanna be wrong so I will get it tuned.
AFR is not the only thing you need to worry about. I guarantee that this thing is detenating all over the place. So what if you have a built motor...you need proper management to go with your motor. Do it right, not 1/2 assed.
What spark plugs are you even running?? I guarantee with proper management you'll make at least 40wtq more, and you'll get better fuel mileage. I made 225whp/207wtq and I got like 31mpg on the way to the dyno. How? Proper management. |
Afr is 10s mid 11s at full boost if its running rich as hell right now! I think afr is safe but I want it at good potential. My spark plugs are ngk-r one step colder gapped at 32. I check them after every drive! I wanna tune it so bad but I lost my job and ran low on funds so I don't drive it much smh!
Yeah, afr's are alright then I guess. However 200whp with no timing control is going to end badly for you. For the sake of your motor don't go into boost anymore until you get some kind of EMS.
Yea I'll play it safe, definitely trying to save unemployment checks to get a mspnp or greddy ultimate. Would rather be stand alone though!
