Default eBay Rad

90 97 Mazda Miata MX5 MX 5 MT Dual Core 2 Row Aluminum Radiator 12" Black Fans | eBay

Can anyone here poke holes in that eBay rad? Trying to find a good rad to put in the Miata for this next summer.

Looks great to me, like any other godspeed/mishimoto/cxracing radiator.

I have had the same one for 3 years, though I didn't get it with fans and use oem. Also the welds on mine look better but that's probably up to chance.

FWIW with my reroute it cools well with an intercooler and ac condenser in front of it, never tried without the reroute.

Look around a bit more on ebay. You can find some slightly more expensive buy it now price, but free shipping so cheaper over all. I ran my first ebay GB aluminum radiator from 08-12 without any issues.

I have one that looks like that, the typical ebay radiator from a different seller. I got one with 2 slim fans built into a decent shroud, not just stuck to the back with no shroud, for $185 shipped. At the time the radiator only was ~$100shipped. I'm very happy with mine.

Wow that looks really damn tempting. I think I'm going to need the extra fan power for doing pro solos we'll see how much money I have left over after ordering exhaust parts. Let us know if you find one with free shipping.

If you have proper ducting then there is no reason you should need a second fan on one of the ebay radiators. I have only ran a single fan on them since I bought my first one in 08.

But do you run flatout for 30-60 seconds then stop and sit in traffic for a couple minutes then repeat 3 more times? Even stock cars sometimes have heat problems doing this (not just miatas). But thats the prosolo format.

I thought about doing it but I can't impulse buy right now. I'm sure the E-Bay rads aren't going anywhere.... Gotta keep my eyes on the prize(ARTech mani/dp ) I'm so damn close and I don't want to start dipping into my savings for something I don't need just yet haha

I made an offer and got mine for $100. It went in great. Avoid the fans at all costs. When I did my research that was the part that everyone hated on.

The radiators are all the same. From $100 to $200 they come from the same company in LA. Godspeed or something. My paypal was to godspeed@something.com. They just have 5 different names on ebay to sell to different prices.
