What temps. do yall get when yall are running at the track and autox. Temps while you are running, and right after you stop? What is a safe range of engine temp. for racing?

 

hopefully I'll have a palm device to log stuff doing races...hard to secure a laptop and get away with it.

however, last two times I was on the track. after a 25min session at 8psi hitting 130mph I would never see the temp gauge ever spike past normal...now i know it's not an accurate gauge, but in the least I know i never started to overheat.

autox should have no worries, low speed 30-60 secs at a time.

 

Oil: I have seen ~235°, measured in the pan.

Water: 2 oclock on the stock gauge (didnt know how bad that was at the time) Now with the big honkin' radiator, 195-200° coming out of the head (the hottest reading)

I saw mine pass the middle last time I autoxed
Me and two others were running the car back to back and it turns out the fan had died

 

during autox i jumper the fans in the diagnostic box. car never gets hot and the intercooler doesn't heat soak waiting in line.
