Glad to hear the great news Mike! now you have to remember to keep us abreast of the progress. BTW, had to make a cut on my chassis to fit the turbo, haha

Did you clean it or replace it?

Chad, if you're around I need help. I sent WOT an email asking him but he hasn't answered it yet. I tried to create an account at lightningmotorsports.com to buy the in tank pump but,as usual, since I don't live in the States or Canada I can't do it.

Sorry Mike for hijacking your thread.

So you want me to get it and send it down? Your stock pump will be fine Rafa. Unless you think it's weak and dying. Email me telling me what you want to do.

Funny Story, I purchased the CAS from another forum member with the understanding (at least mine) that the disc was going to have reflective tape in the appropriate place for the Tec. Long Story Short, that didn't end up getting put on and the Tec was being confused with two different cam signals. Took away the wrong signal and it started working like a charm.

I can't believe you would actually hijack one of my threads...of all people

It was solved anyways

Sorry I'm late to the party. Pulling the cam signal completely (by unplugging it) is an excellent way to test for this kind of signal issue on the TECs. If the car is set-up for full sequential and the TEC does not see a signal it'll guess TDC No.1. If it does that you'll end up with the injector phasing being correct or 180 deg out. Either way the engine will run consistently, dead smooth or slightly rougher at idle (perhaps).

The alternative is to use a relatively cheap hand held oscilloscope such as this, which over the years you'll find all sorts of uses for.

To be honest it doe make me consider removing the barnacle that is the Mk1 CAS on the back of my engine. Anyone done this?
