extraction hood
Thanks guys for the positive feed back!!! I am north of 450rwhp/rwtq right now. Looking for a little more and then time to loose a little weight!!! 2650lbs. right now!!! Need to vent the hood and you all have some very good ideas!!!
I did this on my stock hood, since some dumb *** forgot to put the pins back in and bent the hood over the windshield. I figured the hood was trash anyways at that point, so I went to town. I have not done the string test yet, but my coolant temps never get much above 190. I also have a splitter in the front that sticks out maybe 2 1/2", I feel that helps with cooling as well.



This pic shows the two layers, the bottom one is 1/8" sheet aluminum, and the top is two layers of fiberglass. (Because I suck at bending metal, it looks much better with the fiberglass on top)
