great starting point, no doubt...
+1 Y8S, make a mold, this will help the overall strength and integrity of the final product compared to piecing it together and bondo-ing it...vevvy noice

I just bought this hood

It's not really to my taste, but it's ready to go, it was cheap, and it looks like it's pretty functional.

If someone local wants to pass the torch on with my blue vented hood for what I got in it ($20), they can have at it.
