Well I ordered a sender from Autometer, its an 80psi sender but I have a 100psi gauge. I don't see why it would have any problems working at all. The car is currently apart, turbo is off and oil feed line and return unhooked so I cant start it but I did notice that after I hooked everything up per Autometer's instructions the gauge goes straight to 80psi when I turn the key on and the stock pressure gauge still goes to operational pressure with the sender not even hooked up? Is this normal? I dont see how I could have messed anything up its a pretty straight forward install. My question is, will an 80psi sender for a 100psi gauge just not work properly?
