if you're thinking about buying a FFS kit, just go ahead and send me $5k and I'll send you a nitrous kit. if you pay with cash, I'll even enclose a Ziploc bag containing (1) dry fart. wet farts are extra.

i ask what am i wrong about? the fact that chemical intercooling is effective in low boost applications? or the compound turbo/super charger? because chemical intercooling is done alot. ill spell it out for you

a air/air intercooler isnt needed in a low boost application. i was pointing out the fact that the coldside supercharger was a good idea for the fact you dont have the boost drop caused from the FMIC. the i said the soultion to the problem. which is dont use the 5th injector use water/meth as a chemical IC... its not wrong it is used all the time. but i dont see how im wrong.

on the point of compound systems again i ask what is wrong with what i wrote? compoundsare done all the time. you take the 6 psi from the SC and 10 PSI from the turbo and you add 6+10 ans it equals 16psi. not a hard concept to grasp. an you do get best of both worlds. this is done all the time with diesels but its compound turbos. also so is the WI injection and even nos and thats 85+ psi with out a intercooler.
so again prove what i said is wrong

You are wrong, and your proof is below.

Twin charging works on the basis of pressure ratios. They multiply whatever they are sucking in by whatever their pressure ratio is.

For example your turbo boosts 10PSI which feeds into your super that has a 1.4 pressure ratio..

10PSI + 14.7 (atmospheric pressure) = 28.7PSI being fed into the supercharger
28.7x1.4 PR = 40.18PSI
40.18-14.7= 25.48 PSI

So a 10PSI turbo boosting into a super with a 1.4PR = 25.48 PSI at the manifold. Total pressure ratio increase from atmospheric pressure is 2.73 by compounding.

Again, just to be clear... you are wrong.

The super in front of the engine makes it look like a bigger engine to the turbo.

I'm not sure what's more entertaining:
  • intercooler "bottleneck" outweighing efficiency/IAT drop
  • compound turbocharging a 1.8l 4-cylinder
  • chemical IC
  • 91NA's wealth of extra chromosomes

I like taking advice from the guy with the MP62, spinning it as fast as it will go, running E85, and making a whopping 180whp. What an awesome use of cash. I can spend less money and get close to that number with an unopened VVT engine.

I see no reason why the MP62 has to come off in order to accomplish that.
ZZP has had pretty good luck twin charging the Cobalt/Ions.
